You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling material requirements to support production operations, ensuring timely availability of materials, optimal inventory levels, and smooth import/export and logistics processes in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

 

  • Primary job duties involve planning and securing materials required for production.
  • Coordinate with shipping agencies and Thai Customs, including preparation of e-customs processes and payment of import duties for shipment clearance.
  • Check and monitor incoming materials with suppliers, purchasing, and freight forwarders.
  • Follow up and monitor delivery schedules, including problem-solving with suppliers, production planning, and purchasing to prevent raw material shortages.
  • Conduct monthly and yearly supplier evaluations.
  • Coordinate with related departments (production, warehouse, quality, maintenance, and others) to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents for all relevant documents such as import declarations, status 04, billing, and other documents required to apply for import/export privileges.
  • Prepare freight cost documentation and submit to the accounting team for payment to shipping agents.
  • Release purchase orders to Inter Companies based on requirements from related departments.
  • Ensure that the production facility has the appropriate materials available to complete production orders.
  • Check, monitor, and arrange material inventory levels and requirements in alignment with the production plan.
  • Comply with work requirements in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards.

 

Your Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in logistics, production planning, or supply chain management within the automotive parts industry.
  • Native Thai speaker with very good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning processes.
  • Experience working with SAP system.
  • Willingness to work on-site at MAHLE Engine Components (Thailand) Co., Ltd. – Serithai Road, Bangkok.
