Machine Set-Up Operator- 2nd Shift

SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up machines in assigned areas for scheduled production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produces product according to work instructions

• Setup & operate assigned machines at appropriate line pace

• Produces and inspects product by meeting quality and time standards

• Stops process if non-conforming product is being produced and sorts non-conforming product and separates them clearly from conforming parts, apply defect code on product and mark defect

• Notify team leader or quality department immediately about unusually high numbers of defective product or any other disturbances

• Reworks non-conforming product according to rework instructions.

• Keep equipment and work area clean

• Follow all procedures and instructions

• Wears required Personal Protective Equipment

• Performs tasks as assigned by the team leader that are related to his/her discipline or a result of company necessities

• Shift differential of $1

• Work overtime as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
