BU2 Thermal and Fluid Systems

The activities of the former business units “Filtration and Engine Peripherals” and “Thermal Management” will be merged into the new business unit Thermal and Fluid Systems. Within this new structure, Thermal Management will be able to leverage the filtration production expertise developed by the group over many years, enabling it to bring competitive and future-oriented technologies to the market.

MAHLE is committed to thermal management and intends to continue growing in this area. The increasing electrification of powertrains requires outstanding innovation capabilities in thermal management for both batteries and the entire electric powertrain.

MAHLE is a technology leader in battery thermal management. Our solutions ensure consistent temperature levels and uniform temperature distribution across battery cells.

In Thermal Management, MAHLE is one of the world's leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), developing cooling and air-conditioning systems, as well as complete thermal management solutions, not only for passenger cars and commercial vehicles but also for a wide range of off-highway mobile and stationary applications.

To increase engine efficiency and service life, as well as reduce emissions, MAHLE manufactures filtration systems, pump systems, and oil coolers for engine and transmission applications. In this way, we ensure clean air and prevent oil and fuel contamination that could damage the engine. Clean intake air is also essential for the proper operation of fuel cells.
