Sales Operaions Team Lead

Your Contribution

As Team Lead Sales Operations, you will lead the local team in Parma and play a key role in the global SAP/MORE rollout. This is a great opportunity to shape new digital sales processes, drive operational improvements and support a business serving around 450 distributors across EMEA and selected global markets.

• Lead, manage and develop the local Sales Operations team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations, coaching team members and supporting them through ongoing changes.
• Ensure efficient execution and continuous improvement of sales processes, from customer order processing through order handover.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of digital sales operations, including SAP/MORE and relevant sales tools, reducing manual activities and improving efficiency.
• Support sales planning and performance through reliable reporting, forecasting, analyses and accurate sales data.
• Ensure effective use of sales systems and tools, with a strong focus on data quality, pricing processes and consistent application of global standards.
• Act as an escalation point for operational, process and system-related topics and ensure effective cooperation with relevant internal stakeholders.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Economics or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Several years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Service, Order Management or a comparable commercial function, preferably in an international environment.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching and developing a team.
• Good understanding of sales processes, including order management, pricing, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience in project and change management, ideally related to system implementation, transformation or digitalization projects.
• Experience with ERP and sales-related systems; knowledge of SAP and CRM solutions is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured, hands-on approach and good communication skills.
• Very good Italian and English skills are required; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
