Your contribution:

• Promoting and implementing MAHLE’s management principles.

• Taking responsibility for PPI initiatives and supporting teams in implementation steps.

• Supporting and encouraging employees to adhere to the quality, environment, occupational health and safety management system and predefined standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company policy.

• Monitoring and adhering to all safety prevention measures and practices, including 5S and safety guidelines.

• Observing and fulfilling standard requirements related to the workplace.

• Working safely in accordance with regulations, standards and procedures and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risks to health and the environment.

• Leading the team in daily operations and continuous improvement, including but not limited to: Production control, production priorities and coordination between all teams.

• Assisting the production supervisor in establishing a continuous product flow, using traction systems and balancing the workload.

• Establish and maintain an empowered workforce and positive team atmosphere.

• Provide effective cross-training for co-workers and reserves from other production programs to ensure continuous smooth operation.

• Motivate and work with the team to resolve issues to ensure quality is right the first time.

• Collaborate with supervisor to develop a roadmap for the future and manage plans to achieve it as documented.

• Responsible for managing the shift operation.

• Ability to assess and develop individual and team capabilities and skills.

• Ability to create and maintain enthusiasm for challenges.

• Ability to act as a role model to promote safety, new ideas and positive change.

• Oversee daily activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and annual expectations and metrics.

• Daily management of the work team.

• Staff planning and development of work team skills and knowledge.

• Promote continuous improvement and problem solving tools within the work team.

• Conduct daily shift handover meetings with a strong focus on preventing issues through internal resolution, with support functions and/or escalation to higher management level (Production Supervisor).

• Other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Your qualifications and experience:

• Education level: 6/1 higher education program (until 1994), higher education professional program (title: Bachelor)

• Work experience in years: 2- 5 years of experience working in operations

• Language skills: English - B1 - level of communication threshold

• Computer skills: 2nd level of computer skills
