Project Management Officer

Your Contribution

As a Project Management Officer (m/f/d), you provide structure, transparency, and proactive support for our projects and programs while actively shaping the digital PLM process landscape. 

• Maintain and further develop PM methods, processes, and templates
• Ensure compliance with governance processes and support audits, quality gates, and project reviews
• Identify improvement opportunities, promote best practices, and contribute to transformation and standardization initiatives 
• Support the creation, maintenance, and tracking of project plans
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, and deliverables Coordinate cross‑team PMO activities
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses, and enhance reporting structures (e.g., MPR, deviation reports)
• Ensure portfolio transparency and support management decision‑making Administer and further develop PPM tools (e.g., SAP PPM/cProjects, Cockpit, MS Planner) and ensure data quality
• Support users as a (key) user in PM/PPM processes and tools

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field 
• Experience in project management; certifications (PMI, IPMA) are an advantage
• Initial experience in digitalization, product development, or PLM processes is desirable
• Solid understanding of project and portfolio management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong communication and training capabilities
• Structured, reliable, and well‑organized working style; ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Analytical and methodical skills; proficient in Excel, Power BI, and databases
• Experience with PM/PPM systems (SAP cProjects, Cockpit, MS Project)
• Knowledge of PLM systems and process documentation
• Very good English skills, written and spoken
