Head of Product Development Segment Sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovation and research plans
• Develop business cases for the introduction of new technologies
• Drive improvements in idea conceptualization
• Foster innovation to introduce new developments and improve products or processes
• Evaluate the results of new products and processes to achieve better business outcomes
• Design innovation initiatives aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and values
• Drive innovation in the areas of quality policy, product safety, and regulatory requirements for new products
• Lead product and process innovation activities
• Define guidelines to enhance the company’s competitiveness in new product development
• Define the development strategy for the team in alignment with the overall company strategy
• Understand customer requirements, propose necessary adjustments, and develop customer specification programs
• Propose improvements related to product robustness, quality, and cost efficiency
• Propose research areas and development programs
• Develop, formalize, and monitor development programs
• Develop and lead teams across multiple locations

Qualifications:

• Education: University degree, or Master’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies, or Civil Engineering)
• Professional Experience: 8 years or more of relevant experience in the field
• Language Skills: English – C1 (Advanced Proficiency)
• PC literacy
• Automotive industry experience is essential
• Experience in managing complex projects
• Knowledge of German is desirable
• Willingness to travel internationally
